This Christmas will not be Televised

As Christmas looms over her city, Jamora and a small group of rebels set out to overthrow the brutal Adjudicator who rules with an iron fist and brings death to his citizens each Christmas.

Each Christmas I try (and sometimes fail) to write a new short story. These are usually ghost stories, in the great M.R.James tradition, but this year’s story ended up going in a different direction: a dystopian society, a fearsome white-bearded Adjudicator, and young rebel determined to avenge the murder of her parents.

(30 minute read)

Due to its length (5,600 words) this story is available for download–for free–via a number of ebook retailers: https://books2read.com/u/38qBnw
